"You're coming with us in our small beginnings and your presence reassures us"
Send this prayer thanksgiving to Him who so loved you:
"Lord Jesus Christ, facing the enormous need to reach people not yet reached through our respective nations by thy Gospel, facing the limits of our means in human terms, over the opposition of the enemy who seeks by all means to thwart and prevent your ways the tasks you entrust to us, yet we can say we do not lose heart. Instead we are full of confidence because we know you're coming with us in our small beginnings and your presence is reassuring. Indeed we can not forget your faithfulness in your promises to us in the past and you will do so in the present and the future to continue to accompany us in every circumstance. You remain faithful and you do not deniest your covenant with us. You bring our small beginnings, even the most imperceptible, grow to become a day of great works that bear much fruit to your glory, sources of blessings for several generations. You are with us in the trials of departments of small things that you entrusted us to do. You support us even when our steps, like a baby, are not yet firm. You do not ask us to do the jump when we are still very small, as you do not ask a baby not to run when it started barely crawling. When we fall, your hand comes to our rescue and help us continue to walk with short steps following your instructions and within your presence that is our security. Given our doubts, you act for us show that you're alive, really alive, you're the same, always the same then as now, that you are fully sufficient to rescue us in all situations and that you are capable of bringing to full completion the projects We put you in heart to accomplish. Therefore, you always surprises and will continue to amaze the skeptics who put their trust in man instead of putting yourself in the true and living God. For us, even our faith flickering around, we do know that the Word is immutable and that your promises are yes and amen! Therefore, we do not fail we always turn to you, as the doe that sigh from the still waters. To ensure your disciples and we now also in fulfilling the Great Commission that we entrust to you, you declared: "... All power is given unto me in heaven and on earth. Go and make disciples of all nations ... I am with you always, until the end of the world "(Matthew 28: 18, 19,20). Each of us who sincerely believe in you, are also experimenting every day with you the truth of this promise, even in our small beginnings. In the Old Testament through the prophet Zechariah, you've reassured your people and your servants inviting them to not get discouraged and do not despise small beginnings, for, thou art He who become great and even very large small beginnings. So they have you declared through the mouth of Zechariah: "The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will finish it ... For those who despise the day of small things shall rejoice in seeing the level in the hand of Zerubbabel ... "(Zechariah 4: 9,10). Because, did you also told the same people: "... It is not by might nor by power but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts" (Zechariah 4: 6). Lord our God, you have not changed and your spirit has not become less powerful and less present. You reside permanently in our hearts and you promised to be with us every day until the end of the world and to manifest powerfully through us by your presence, your deeds (Matthew 28: 20, Mark 16: 15-20 ). Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for that assurance you give me of your presence at my side. Thank you for the support you assure me that by putting your unlimited resources at my disposal at the outset of any department that you entrusted me to do for the expansion of the gospel, the proclamation Good News of salvation that you offer to every human being. When you allow the birth of a ministry to reach your goals, you also do this ministry grow. Even though the process can be lengthy in some cases, one thing is certain that thou shalt bear the fruit to become a source of blessing to many people because the Word is Life and it does not fall to earth not germinate or grow, or grow and bear much fruit without. Especially when your life falls seed in fertile ground, where y 'hearts are thirsty and hungry for your knowledge. Lord Jesus Christ, you also taught me by nature and our daily lives. Indeed, everything is great, first started small and sometimes tiny. This is true for plants, animals, humans, organizations in the secular world for works such as Christian churches where the works of purely humanitarian or development. Lord Jesus Christ, help me not to fall into the trap of desiring to possess or covet great things that already exist and are the fruits of the toil of others despising what is small or refusing to get involved in small beginnings with you. Help me to bless your name to any existing work that a tiny start with you and bring you to grow through obedience and faith of people who believe in you and in your power and who agree to be instruments in your hands to allow you to do this work. Help me Lord Jesus Christ, to have respect for these people because of you who are behind their work and help me to inspire me with their model of relationship with you and your work in their commitment to follow their footsteps in small start s with you, knowing that you can make the desert green again even with those who can count on you. Thank you to bless the work that I do with you and your order for expansion of your kingdom and your glory. Already I see her, through faith, spirit to grow by natural increase but also an extraordinary example of the growth of any work that accompanied you, as natural growth and an extraordinary baby who grew up to become a daily update an adult capable of multiplying by other births. there, my dear brother, promise more exciting and encouraging than this?
Small beginnings are small in the eyes of men, but they are great in the eyes of God who has raised!
We have the example of Abraham to confirm this great truth. Party of Ur of the Chaldees with his family, he had been promised the Lord that he would be a great posterity. And Abraham walked with such certainty pegged at heart, seeing as through the invisible despite the barrenness of Sarah, his wife. The history, making him the father of believers, we will show that his loyalty was well founded since the Church of Christ and before it, the true believers of the old covenant, we are presented as his descendants!
His children are identified by a sign: that their faith in the living and true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God revealed in Jesus Christ his son.
Abraham obeyed the Lord with limited resources, in the modesty of his family but he looked far ahead, with eyes of faith to this day, still unknown, but hoped that Realize God's promise.
No, there are no small beginnings when the Lord works with us!
Every soul that He puts in our path and who turns to Him, is itself the mark of the great work of recreating our Divine Saviour. Can we talk about small beginning when the divine life transforms a sinner into a citizen of the kingdom of God?
the contrary! We're here to one of the most glorious beginnings resulting from the miraculous action of the Holy Spirit of God.
No longer a small beginning but a beginning out of the ordinary that should cause us joy and thanksgiving! So
, What if it's not a soul but two, then three, then ten, then ..... x? How rich and how knowing about recognition, moreover, among his few faithful disciples, stands the Lord himself!
Certainly, our numbers can sometimes leave us thinking that we are weak while the work is so great. It then
forget that what matters above all, this is not the number but the power of faith which animates this small number and that is reflected by its ability to pray.
The Adversary would have us doubt and give up.
The Lord encourages us and tells us: "Fear not, only believe. I'm with you!" My
dear doctor, I know you know these things and you know also express accurately, but I also know that to hear them say a brother who has also experienced a source of encouragement.
So be encouraged, be, encouraged in the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, my dear brothers and sisters in faith!
